I DON'T work for a museum, and my boss knows and
supports my involvement in this list, which is how I
spend my lunch hour. It makes me a more well-rounded
employee. Further, this kind of snobbery, this kind
of holier-than-thou mindset, this kind of elitism is
PRECISELY why I opted to steer clear of working in a
museum after having given it long and prayerful
consideration. It's a shame. I've raised oodles of
money for nonprofits, and it could have been a good
thing for an institution, but I don't have time in my
life for this kind of negativity, especially in
exchange for a lower pay rate.

I LOVE this list and most of the professionals on it.
But not the snarky ones.
