Dear Listers:
In preparation for the annual meeting of the American Associations of
Museums Meeting session (May 6, 2004, New Orleans, LA) entitled "NAGPRA in
the New Millennium: The Future of Museum Compliance and Consultation", the
Colorado Historical Society is requesting information from museums and
agencies around the country regarding NAGPRA compliance programs.
Specifically, we are researching how institutions have administered NAGPRA
programs over the 14 years since passage of the act and how they address
ongoing requirements under NAGPRA. Your time in filling out this survey is
greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Bridget M. Ambler
