As President of the New Mexico Association of Museums, I have been asked to
speak to a group of rangers from the five New Mexico State Monuments, which
are part of the Museum of New Mexico. The title of my presentation is "New
Mexico Association of Museums and how we can better serve the public."

I have no problem with the NMAM part, nor am I at a loss for talking about
the concept of better public service. But, I'm wondering if any of you
might have a succinct idea (or ideas) that represent the essence of "How we
can better serve the public."

I realize this topic is very broad, but I welcome your rcomments, either to
me or to the list. Thanks!

what a long, strange trip it's been."
