I am writing in response to the request for clarification from Adrienne Roberts
about job postings on the OMA site and on the CHIN Web site.

Job postings in the Careers section of the Heritage Forum, on the CHIN Web (
http://www.chin.gc.ca/forum ) are free of charge, thanks to the collaboration of
the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) and the Canadian Museums
Association (CMA). Job postings may overlap with those on the OMA site, but the
decision about where to place a posting rests with the institution. Thus, the
listings will not be identical.

Please note that museums and other heritage organizations outside Canada may use
the Heritage Forum to post jobs for which Canadians are eligible to apply.
