Help--

we're looking for historical images -- photos/ film/ illustrations-- of
smelting equipment,
in particular equipment associated with lead smelting. Specific pieces of
equipment include
Blast furnaces, cone bins, cyclones, bag houses, precipitators, hoppers,
star valves, payloaders,
cellar bins and scrubbers. Most of this equipment appeared in the 1940's &
50's, although some pieces
such as the blast furnaces have been around since the 1800's .
We're also interested in general historical images of foundry activities-
molten metal being poured, hauling ore,
mines, refineries.

Contact Blake at 800-327-2449 ext 246\

Thanks
