Summary of Responsibilities: 

The award-winning Bell County Museum is searching for a seasoned museum professional to serve as its curator.
 
Required Qualifications: 

The full-time position requires at least five post-graduation years of experience in the areas of exhibit production, research and collections management, and a willingness to work with many dedicated volunteers as well as the general public. An MA in history, museum science, and/or related discipline is required. The position also requires knowledge of PastPerfect, ability to use basic conservation techniques, ability to perform methodological research, and in-depth knowledge of exhibit design and production techniques. The ability to work with a wide variety of individuals is also necessary, as it multi-tasking. The Bell County Museum, located along the IH-35 corridor, serves the community as a vital resource for the collection, interpretation, and preservation of the historical heritage of the Bell County area.
