Or, if you don't want to brave the crowds head north to the Howard County
Fair, conveniently located off of Route 70 in West Friendship. Route 70
can be reached from 270, from the Baltimore Beltway, and there are
plenty of other ways to get there as well. You can see the Fair Grounds from
the highway.  You want to take Exit 80 off of 70, take Route 32 south
to Route 144 west, and go 1/2 a mile.  The Fair opens
tomorrow and runs through next Saturday, the 17th.  And when you go to
the Fair stop by and see the Howard County Historical Society's booth,
which can be found in the main exhibit hall. Be sure to sign the comment
book and say that Museum-L sent you. So, go out into the country, enjoy
the fresh air, and see the livestock.
