Dear List,
I am interested in hearing what you feel are reasonable fees for an artist to ask for permissions and reproduction fees in reproducing their artworks in a 500 print color exhibit catalog for an exhibit of works in a University collection? I realize based on the notoriety of the artist they may command a high fee, but I was hoping to get some feedback as to expected fees so as not to be either under paying or over paying an artist for permissions and reproduction fees.
