Even before yesterday's glorious snow fall which caused my staff to go
sledding on their lunch break in central park (have sled will travel)
You can rent skates, get a good cup of hot chocolate at the concession
stand and skate at Wohlman Rink in Central park while enjoying an
amazing view of the NYC skyline peaking over the trees.  Not really a
rink but a beautiful, large, tree-surrounded, irregular pond.  many
tourists don't have a clue about this one.  maybe I shouldn't even be
telling...
