As former Deputy Director of The Cleveland Museum of Art and longtime member of the Banner Committee of University Circle I can heartily recommend Sean Carroll, Carrollgraphics, 1958 East 90th Street, Cleveland, OH 44106, telephone 216-421-0202. The University Circle banner program which has between 50 and 100 locations with brackets mounted on utility poles requires institutional banners to pass a design review and recommends only fabricators whose work is first rate.
Over the years Carrollgraphics has done lightpost banners for many of the 30 institutions in University Circle, Cleveland, including the Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History, Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland Orchestra, and Case Western Reserve Univertsity. The Circle is a fairly windy site and Sean can make banners which withstand the weather. He is good at working from a rough design or fully finished and specified art, offers a variety of fabrics, and is fairly fast.
