Subj: Gondi archive theft
From: [log in to unmask] (Linda Pellecchia)

As Marilyn wrote to CAAH, the private archive of the Gondi family housed in
their palace in Piazza San Firenze in Florence was broken into and robbed.
Most of the archive was stolen before the theft was discovered in December.
Please pass this Web address to other lists. I have a copy of the list of
stolen documents should you have trouble with the Web page which was kindly
set up by Ton Cremers of Museum Security Network.

For anyone interested in the detailed list of documents stolen recently
stolen from the Gondi archive, they can go to http://www.museum-security.org/
or http://www.museum-security.org/gondi-theft.htm.
