Thanks very much to everyone who has responded. Perhaps I should have
been a bit more precise. I have followed the publications of ICHIM and
Museums and the Web over the years, as well as the discussions (and
archives) of Museum-L, all of which have been, and continue to be, very
useful and inspirational.

However, now that were are well into this new 'age', I was wondering if
there are museums out there that have found specific approaches or
programs using the Internet and related technologies to be particularly
valuable and legitimate ongoing forms of communication for engaging and
expanding visitor experience and information (inside and away from the
museum), which are also manageable (i.e. technologies that can be
maintained easily on a day-to-day basis, something that always seems a
bit of a challenge!). I guess I would like to hear what is actually
happening these days that goes beyond an idea, a preliminary stage, or
one-off uses.

In any event, I do appreciate the input so far. Any other regular uses
or sources of ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks
