Sorry if this is a re-post, It bounced back to me as being unprocessed...

You are indeed correct, Deborah.   "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E.
Frankweiler" has had two incarnations on the silver screen.  The Internet
Movie Database tells me that the first incarnation was done in 1973 starring
Ingrid Bergman as Mrs. Frankweiler.  The more recent adaptation was in 1995
starring Lauren Bacall.


the internet movie database is a good resource for all movie/TV trivia
questions.  I always go there when I have a "who was in..."  or "y'know that
movie with Bruce Campbell that I can't remember the name of right now..."
(which is obviously a fictitious example, because I know all Bruce
Campbell's movies)  It's address is:
