The Native Student Union at the University of Victoria is holding its annual
art auction.

The auction is held between December 1 - 5, 1997 in the Student Union
Building between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.  Bidding will end Friday
December 5 at 2:00 p.m.

Traditionally the Native Student Union receives donations from its members
and the Native art community.  The auction features traditional and
contemporary art from First Nations and other artists.  In the past,
donations have ranged from native design clothing, silver jewellry and
prints to cedar bailers and Japanese kimonas.
