FOSSILS GEOLOGY PALAEONTOLOGY - Fossil fish from Dura Den, Fife, Scotland

HELP US LOCATE THE ONES THAT GOT AWAY!

St Andrews Museum, Kinburn Park, Doubledykes Road, St Andrews, Fife,
Scotland.

We will be exhibiting Dura Den fossil fish from mid-Jan to mid-June 1999,
using specimens from local collections. We would like to be able to
indicate the UK and world-wide distribution of these fossils, and are
inviting all institutions with specimens in their collections to
contribute to this exhibition with information on provenance, photographs,
drawings, etc.For example, from archives, we know that the American Museum
of Natural History, New York, has a slab, and how it got there.

We would be very pleased if you would like to contribute to this
exhibition, Fish out of Water, the fossil fish of Dura Den, and the people
who hunted them.

Thank you very much.
sincerely, Erika Topolewska
