This is the Museum Management Institute.  It is a month long course.
Applications are due relatively early in the year.  There is a very limited
enrollment and it is very expensive.

There is another course of study offered in Colorado each year.  Perhaps
someone else knows the inormation on that one?  As I recall there are
shorter (1 week), topical seminars offered at the Smithsonian, too.

Also, check out the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies in
Mt. Carroll, Illinois.  While this leans towards conservation refreshers,
many other courses are taught that are useful to the museum professional -
from storing works on paper, to soft packing and crating, to computer
system selection, etc.  Campbell Center is a summer only program.
