Thanks Glen,

We're using the same setup. However, this new kiosk is going to be used by
many people (it's located in a hallway) who may have no knowledge of
computers at all. I want to avoid having to teach our gallery attendents
to check the computer periodically and restart the program if someone quit.

I also want to block all the settings and preferences from change.

I did this before by locking the preference file, it works, but it
generates error messages if one does try to change the settings.

I hacked a copy of Netscape 3.1. I can remove the option to quit and the
option to change the preferences, but I'm hoping to find someone who has a
better solution. (as someone gently pointed out, it is also illegal to
modify Netscape)

Thanks for your help...we're thinking along similar lines.

Jim
