Shara,
When I graduated from college I moved to London and
worked for six months. The organization that helped
me is called BUNAC. It was extremely helpful in
orienting me to the city, finding a place to live, and
finding a job. Your job requirements are probably
more specific than most people who go through this
program but it might be something to consider just to
help you with the visa requirements and things other
than a job.
A few months ago I remember that white cube gallery
was looking for interns. This is a great gallery and
it shows many artist on the "cutting edge".
Good luck with everything. If you need any advice on
how to get oriented in the city or where to look for
accomodation I would be more than willing to give my
two cents.
