JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Ethnoscience is looking for an assistant archaeological division manager.
Although fieldwork and travel will be required, this is primarily a
managerial position.  The individual will supervise and coordinate
activities associated with cultural resource management (CRM) projects in
Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota and Washington.  This includes
enforcing technical quality control standards and assuring the financial
accountability and the timely completion of all projects of the Archaeology
Division.  An MA or Ph.D in anthropology or history, good writing skills
and an understanding of the Section 106 process is required.  Although
previous experience in conducting CRM projects and knowledge of the
Northern Plains is preferred, it is not necessary.

This is a salaried position.  Based on previous experience, starting salary
will be between $36,000 and $38,000 per year.  After 3-6 months, benefits
include a pension plan, medical benefits, paid holidays, sick leave and
vacation days.
