Hi everyone

Has anyone had experience with using indelible ink to write accession
numbers on objects? A family who has many objects on loan to this museum
has asked us to look into the possibility of using the ink on their taonga
(treasures).

I would be interested in hearing what people think about this; both
ethically and in terms of conservation.
