ART DIRECTOR/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
New York City area science museum seeks art director to be responsible for
all exhibition and museum signage, corporate identity, brochures, posters,
catalogues and all promotional and educational materials. Excellent skills
and experience in Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, design concepts and
production.  3-5 years supervisory experience required.  Salary to 40K and
benefits.


DIRECTOR OF MUSEUM AND CORPORATE SERVICES
NYC arts organization seeks higly polished and experienced museum professional
with knowledge of collections and deacccessioning to liase with museum
clients and corporate and private collectors. Arrange related events for
museums and other clients to highlight entire collections or individual
works of art. Background in PR or Marketing preferred. Outstanding
communications skills required, including writing and budgeting skills.
Salary: $50-80K, dependent upon background and experience; excellent benefits.


EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTS/SECRETARIES
We have several positions available for executive assistants/secretaries to
Directors of Museums and other arts organizations.  Excellent written and
verbal communication skills essential.  Strong computer and database skills
needed, along with ability to manage schedules and travel arrangements.
Interact with VIPs and Trustees, take minutes at Board meetings. Occassional
involvement with executive's personal calendar and schedules. Prefer
individuals with track record working for one or two executives for
extensive periods of time.
Salaries dependent on experience; all positions with excellent benefits.


WRITER/WEBSITE COORDINATOR
NYC University seeks writer with knowledge of website construction and
maintenance. Experience with HTML essential.  Majority of time for several
months will be developing the site; after that, other editorial and writing
responsibilities for active business school will be assigned.  Strong
writing and communication sills essential.  Salary:  $40K with benefits.


EXHIBITION DESIGNERS/GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
We always have permanent and temporary positions for exhibition designers
and graphic designers.  For exhibitions, we seek individuals with strong
design portfolios and ability to work with curators and educators in the
development of exhibitions. Hands-on skills essential. Graphic designers
should be experienced in Quark, Photoshop, and Illustrator and be able to
produce posters, brochures, signage and related exhibition and publications
material.
