Kilned pottery has been exposed to high levels of visible and infrared
light in the kiln.  Unless something was added since it was manufactured,
there should be no reaction to visible light.
 
For that reason, there should be no problem with exhibiting the pieces in
natural light.  However, if these pieces (or any of them) have been
restored, there is a possibility that materials used in the restoration
process may be affected by extended exposure to light.
 
You might wish to contact Bob Herskovitz at the Minnesota Historical
Society's Conservation Department and ask him to take a look at the
pieces which you plan to exhibit.
