The Connecticut Historical Society

Exhibition Developer.

The Connecticut Historical Society is planning interactive, audience-
centered exhibitions at the CHS museum and another site.  The Exhibit
Developer will work with present CHS staff and outside consultants in a
team-based environment.  Individuals who have developed interactive,
thematic exhibitions to attract an inter-generational audience, including
children ages 6-12 years, are encouraged to apply.  An ability to transform
ideas into three-dimensional forms and hands-on activities is required.

Qualifications include:  a minimum of three years experience in a museum or
design firm developing exhibitions; project management experience;
familiarity with audience research practices; and graphic computer skills.
Salary commensurate with experience.
