Freshmen or not, First Amendment or not, this kid
should have had more common sense. Union Station last
winter, was normaly filled with at least 10 army
personel. For the police to have been alerted by
civilians tells me that this student purposefuly found
a place without such a presence. Which, in turn, tells
me he knew he was doing something wrong. Last year I
became "a little worrisome", when I saw an unattended
suitcase sitting in the middle of Penn Station, I
couldnt imagine seeing 4 black boxes with "Fear",
written on them. A few thousand people on their second
Venti Chai Latte waiting for a 6 train? The potential
for that to have gone wrong was incredible. I'd be
interested to know what consisted of that 5 days
community service. Personaly, I know my grandmother
would have been waiting in line with a firm grip on
her wooden paddle.
