I am actually writing this for another party who is currently seeking a
glove producer who can supply historical accurate,reproduction gloves.
The items to be reproduced would be approximately ninety pairs of North
West Mounted Police gauntlets along patterns used in the late nineteenth
century.  Historical accuracy as well as durability are both concerns as
these items will be used by historical recreators during the celebration
of the RCMP's 125th Anniversary next year.
Does anyone know of a firm who deals in such materials, and who is
concerned with both historical accuracy and price?  I believe the party
who is looking for these items can supply any information a producer
might need.  However, the problem he is encountering is finding the
producer to start with.
