How about?

[Elizabeth Holmes] Fisher Gallery, University of Southern California
The Stanford Museum (Stanford University), built by Jane Stanford for her son
Isabella Stewart Gardner

Are you just assembling names? Or is this a deeper project. Mrs. Fisher,
for example, is the subject of my dissertation and a permanent collection
exhibition. As I do my research here in Southern California, I'll send
more names to you. By the way, Kathleen McCarthy, who I believe may still
be at the City University of New York (Center for the Study of
Philantrhopy), would be an excellent source of information. She has
already written three books on the subject of women and
philanthropy/patronage in the arts.

Best of luck with your project.

Jennifer Jaskowiak
Curator
Fisher Gallery, USC
