When planning our new exhibitions the exhibition team sought to put the
personal story in as much as possible. One of the methods they used is
having audio stations with, where appropriate, some of our oral history
recordings from our collection. For another place in the exhibits they
went back to our oral history collection, selected individuals and
re-interviewed on video. It seems to be working as we have had
favourable feedback from the public, we are also in the unique position
where on the right day of the week you can actually talk to some of
these interviewees as they circulate through the exhibitions as
"volunteer interpretive persons" (walking, talking exhibitions!)
