CIDOC has initiated the operation of its own Internet domain.
Its Web site is now located at:

     http://www.cidoc.icom.org/

Host services for this domain are provided by the Swedish Museum
of Natural History. All CIDOC documents located on that museum's
FTP and Gopher servers have been copied to the new Web site. The
Web material previously at http://www.nrm.se/cidoc/ has been
moved to the new server and updated to reflect the new URL. The
older HTTP material is no longer available.

Although none of the previously published FTP, Gopher and e-mail
sources for CIDOC documents have been deliberately changed, they
are no longer being actively supported. The authoritative point
of entry to CIDOC's electronic material is the URL listed above.
Links to additional sites and services maintained on CIDOC's
behalf will be found there.
