Dear Colleagues, 

Uzbekistan Council of Museums, ICOM Uzbekistan is a
public organization, which unites 62 museums of
Uzbekistan. 

We aimed to increase the international awareness about
the culture, arts and history of Uzbekistan through
organizing the international exhibitions, the museum
professionals’ exchange programs, conferences,
seminars and festivals. 

Moreover, we have elaborated a cultural heritage
preservation program aimed to support craftspeople as
the custodians of the traditional “know-how” of
Central Asian artisanship. 

In this regard, we are seeking a partner museum, which
would be interested in organizing the loan exhibition
on history, cultural heritage and contemporary arts of
Central Asia.        

The loan exhibition(s) can be prepared according to
periods (Antiquities, Middle Ages, Contemporary etc.)
or certain dynasties (Karaqanid, Gaznavid,
Khwarezmshakhs, Timurid- Tamerlan,  Kokand and Khiva
Khanates, Bukharian Emirate etc.)         

The interested museums/galleries/art institutions
