"INNOVATIONS IN MEDIA, AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES IN MUSEUMS.  HOW SHOULD
TRAINING PREPARE PERSONNEL FOR THE NEW CHALLENGES IN THE MUSEUM WORKPLACE?"


The International Committee for Training of Museum Personnel will hold its
annual meeting SEPTEMBER 21st to SEPTEMBER 27th, 1997 in BERLIN, hosted by
the STUDIENGANG MUSEUMSKUNDE and the FACHHOCHSCHULE FUR TECHNIK UND
WIRTSCHAFT (FHTW).

There will be a post conference joint tour to Dresden Museums in
association with the International Committee for Museum Security.

Conference fee: DM 350,- (before June 30, 1997)
                DM 400,- (after June 30, 1997)

Non Berlin Students: DM 50,-

There will be an additional charge for an optional workshop (Sept.23) DM
50,- ICOM members; DM 100,- non members.

Various hotels are recommended with per diem prices: DM 55,- to DM 285,-
