Women and Museum Net

As decided on the ICOM conference in Australia in october 1998, a new network has now started up, concerning women and museum matters world wide.

The net wishes to promote discussions, exchange of ideas, exhibits, cooperation in research, formation of mutual and informal consultant-activities, formation of partnerships for EU-funded and other supported projects.

Focus will be the gender perspectives in museums - both as places of work and as fields of research, exhibitions and other educational arrangements.

The Women´s Museum in Denmark is the coordinator of the network. If you want to subscribe to Women and Museum Net, send your name and email-adress to:[log in to unmask] Please write "Women and Museum Net" in the subject line.

You can also send a contribution to the net - it is now open!
