I think the debate shows also the problems to transfer traditional
structures into a modern and more technological time. And on this way the
Internet would be the best way to make a transparent structure and
democratic organisation. This concept must work with a *corporate identity*
and modern-sized webdesign on the world-wide ICOM sites and a powerfull team
of creative colleguages in central *ICOM Internet staff* (which built up in
future, I hope so). On this way the ICOM has a good chance to play a very
important role as one of the central institution of museological
informations and communications. I'm sure that this is only a small part of
a general reform and review of the ICOM.
