The CECA Mexico Committee will host, in the ex-convent of Santo Domingo in
Oaxaca, an event that you simply cannot miss, due to:

- The Marketplace of Ideas, a space created to present, concisely, a
range of the most innovative experiences in the field of education within
the museums of Mexico and overseas.

process of education of our societies. Nevertheless, it is time to think
about how education concepts transform, day after day, our work, our
institutions, and our publics.

You can send us your proposals for:
* Lectures (30+15 min.): which will contribute to professionalize
education services in the museums of Mexico.
*
* Research Reports Sessions (30+15 min.)*: renowned researchers from
Mexico and abroad present their new findings. These sessions are a window
allowing us to visualize the future perspectives of our work.
*
* Marketplace of Ideas: With a format of short presentations (10 min.
+ 5 min. for a questions session), they allow us to know a wide variety of
either theoretic-practical projects in progress, or past projects that have
been evaluated in different kinds of museums. Due to the fact that there is
a range of lecturers in a short span, it is possible to get a national and
international panorama of the state of affairs in our field; these sessions
also make the academic exchange during the meeting lively.
*
* Workshops: Practical aspects of educational chores are presented, in
order to be discussed and appropriated -techniques, processes, materials,
etc. This is a contribution of the Mexican program. Although the workshops
represent a local exchange of ideas, international participation is strongly
encouraged.

**Marketplace of Ideas papers should be planned not to be longer than 10
minutes duration, as this session is meant for "good ideas". Therefore,
papers should be pithy and to the point!
NOTE: The deadline for submission of all projects will be July the 31th.
Abstract is mandatory! A committee will review all proposals and, due to the
number of papers usually received, acceptance replies will be issued by
August 30th.
