A new issue of ICME news is available on the ICME web site: http://icme.icom.museum

ICME news is the quarterly newsletter of the International Committee for Museums of Ethnography. This issue includes preliminary information on the 2004 Seoul conference; papers from the recent ICME conference in Sibiu, Romania; a report from the October meeting of Central- and Eastern-European Ethnographic museums; a calendar of coming events; and not least - a continuation of a debate from the ICME newsgroup questioning the purpose of ICME as a committee - and of ICOM committees in general: Should ICME be dissolved?

ICME news comes out in both simple-text email format and in graphic form on the web page. Subscription to the email version is free, and those interested may subscribe by visiting http://icme.icom.museum , or by sending an email to [log in to unmask]

Daniel Winfree Papuga
