1. As a member of the Executive Council you have been a participant when EC
created the guidelines for The Nomination Committee (NC). The main guideline
is that NC shall assist the Election Officer/Advisory Committee in the
nomination and election process.
2. You were also present when I gave a report to the EC in December onthe
behalf of The Nomination Committee,but if you have any concrete question about
the details, I'll try to answer them.
3. I wrote a small notice in the last issue of ICOM News to remind the members
of the nomination process. The same notice was published on ICOM-L some weeks
ago.That's all! The  "public information campaign" you are writing about is
unknown for me.
4. The nomination process are of course following the excisting statues.
Letters are sent to all International Committees an National Committees by the
Secretariat in January. As still a president of the Italian National Committee
you probably have recieved it.

To you and everybody who happens to read this. Let's work together to get the
best candidates for our new EC. Nominations have to be sent in before April
15.
