In common with a number of other International Committees, the great
majority (about four out of five) of the current ICTOP membership list are
registered as "non-voting" members, for whom we receive no membership
administration funds from ICOM or any other source.

The last ICTOP annual assembly decided that it is impossible to continue
to supply publications and mailings free of charge to non-voting members,
so there are now three choices - (1) to pay a small annual service charge
(100 Francs), (2) to follow ICTOP's programme through information in
ICOM News and through e-mail notices on ICOM-L, or (3) download ICTOP
publications, meeting programmes and booking forms and other mailings
from the ICTOP web site.

As part of this process we have now loaded both the current half-yearly
newsletter "it - Information on Training" plus the previous six issues,
covering 1996 - 1999, on the web site in full page facsimile (Adobe
Acrobat) format.

Most of the more recent web browsers and operating systems now include
Acrobat file (.pdf) readers, but I have added a link for a free download
of the Acrobat Reader to the new index page for "it" on line, which lists
the 7 editions from July 1996 to November 1999 inclusive now available on
line:

        http://www.icom.org/ictop/it-index.html

There is, of course a link to this from the main ICTOP home page:
