MUSAVE

Three years ago the Netherlands Museums Organization produced a software
program with which museums can audit their security organization. Next month a
completely updated and improved second edition will be published. The program
(MUSAVE) contains a 800 questions questionnaire and generates a
strenghts/weaknesses report. Some 'canned' advice is given as well. At the 2000
Conference on Cultural Property Protection in Arlington, VA, I will present
this program.

On the CD is plenty of space to add information about all aspects of museum
security. Museum consultants Steve Keller and Peter Westhuis have already
allowed use of several articles.

MSN mailinglist subscribers are invited to add files to this CD; articles on
all aspects of museum security, information about relevant organizations, fire
protection, safety and salvage plans, visitor regulations, rules for third
parties, product information, security management systems, access control
systems, CCTV (and recording), incident report systems, case studies, and
whatever you may think useful will be welcome.

Product information will only be added if this has a high information value
and reaches beyond sale-talk. It goes without saying that the Netherlands
Museums Association will add a disclaimer message to information about
products.

Files may be send to me in any Windows format you like, with or without images
or demo's.

Do not hesitate to ask for more information via e-mail or phone:

Thanks for your cooperation.
