Silly me, I should have prefaced my earlier discussion with the fact that
floor drains were not available.  The spaces that need dehumidification were
our library, which is carpeted, and the exhibit gallery, also carpeted.
Sure would have made life easier....

Perhaps I should also add that my dehumidfying days ended with the
installation of a new air conditioning system for the building.
