You might have heard about Lawrence Hall of Science, based out of UC,
Berkeley. They develop activities and programs for use in anything from
schools, science centers, etc., under the "Great Explorations in Math
and Science" title. They publish books with all the stuff you need for
doing these activities, and are a great tool for teachers of all
disciplines. I don't think they have anything that exactly fits what
you're doing, but there is one science kit called "Earth, Moon, and
Stars" that might have ideas and resources for your project. There's
also one called "Experimenting with Model Rockets". I highly recommend
these kits and materials: I had a job where I worked with these kits
extensively. It's a great resource.

Here's the contact info:

Hope this helps ya!
