Hi, all,
I am working on a project for my museum studies class, and I wondered
whether anyone who has direct-mail marketing experience could help me. My
assignment is to design a hypothetical marketing proposal. My proposal is to
send a promotional flier and coupon to newcomers to an area, encouraging
them to visit the local museum and learn about their new home's history. My
question is this: Where could I theoretically obtain information
(names/addresses) about area newcomers? I know Welcome Wagon-type services
target newcomers with direct-mail coupons, etc., so it must be possible to
obtain this information from SOMEwhere! If anyone out there happens to know
where, and/or how much it might cost to purchase this data, I'd really
appreciate it. Thank you very much!
Jennifer Bach
