Short News for those fanatic packed-noodlers out there !
A museum commemorating the inventor of packed noodles opens on 21 November
1999 in the outskirts of Osaka.
It was on a grilling summer day of 25 August in 1958 that Momofuku Ando, the
current chairman of Japan's leading food maker, Nisshin Foods Product Inc.,
finally made the success to make the first chicken flavored instant ramen at
his humble shack in his backyard in Ikeda where he still lives.
