Steve - try contacting the folks at the California Academy of Sciences
(www.calacademy.org). They have a small gallery dedicated to Gary Larson,
the creator of "The Far Side".

Subject: Humor in Museums

Please excuse cross-postings.

Hello,

I was looking to put together a panel for the 2000 VSA Conference in
Boston addressing the use of humor in museums. Has anybody on the list
done research or evaluation in this area? If you were interested in
possibly being on a panel proposal, please email me off-list at

Thank you,
