Science Instructor

Description: The Science Instructor will provide direct instruction in the
hands-on science labs offered for elementary through secondary school students.
 The Science Instructor will be involved with all aspects of the science
education program, including curriculum design, development and delivery for
the Programs Department and Gallery Operations.

Requirements: College degree in science, education and/or comparable field of
study.  California teaching credential desirable. Teaching experience and
program development experience required. Available to work weekends and
holidays on a rotational basis.

Outreach Programs Manager

Description: The Outreach Programs Manager is a full-time, exempt management
position. The Outreach Manager will organize and perform administration and
technical duties to coordinate planning, implementation and assessment of
school outreach programs, including Tech Challenge.

Requirements: College degree in science or equivalent experience. Teaching and
program development experience required.  Computer experience required with
ability to learn applications for both Mac and PC.  Must be able to work a
flexible schedule.

Technology Instructor

Description: The Technology Instructor will organize and perform instructor and
technical duties to coordinate planning, implementation and assessment of the
multimedia programs for The Tech's Idea Lab. The Technology Instructor will be
involved with all aspects of the technology education program, including
curriculum design, development and delivery for the Programs Department and
Gallery Operations.

Requirements: College degree in technology, science, education and/or
comparable field of study. Teaching experience and program development
experience required.  Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting for
PCs and Macs. Available to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
