I am sure that there are others but the City of Dallas has an arrangement
similar to that of New York City with part of its arts community.  They own
buildings and provide a portion of the budget for several institutions
including the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Museum of Natural History, The
Science Place and African American Museum.
