Hi Stacey,

I have done this at two museums and found it to be a good match of
responsiblities. The education coordinator is in a good position to
train and supervise the volunteers who work at the site as training is
usually part of programming activities. In this way she/he can
anticipate roles to be filled for programming and train the volunteers
for specific purposes which the education coordinato designed by his or
herself. In addition, extra assistance can be scheduled as needed.

Hope all is well with you.

Best wishes,

Vicki Sopher
