Hi Margaret -

Since you are in Los Angeles, you will be able to see an excellent use of
GIS very soon as a joint project of the Gene Autry Museum, the Riverside
Municipal Museum, and ESRI --- a world-class leader in GIS --- come
together in a project called "Citrus Gold." They will use GIS to document
the history of the citrus industry across Southern California and Arizona.
The coordinator I know is Dr. Vince Moses at RMM, and the leader at ESRI,
Jack Dangermond, has a special interest since his family is a historic
citrus producer.

Best wishes,

Karen
