The Africa Exchange Project coordinates performing arts residencies
between US and African partners; contact the Madame Walker Theatre
Center in Indianapolis for more info. Also, I have a couple of casual
connections with some museum people in South Africa (one in
Johannesburg, one in Cape Town). I have also worked with a few visual
artists in Senegal and Ghana, and finally the Mennonite organization in
Canada has an extensive project going with some African artists/museums
for a touring exhibition called "Rise with the Sun." They have a
website.
