I am reminded of the parable of the tradesman, his ladder and the Museum
electronic counter.........
A true story of the 'unexplained' extra visitors whom it tranpsired were the
rungs of the trademan's ladder as he went and back and forth through the
main entrance and triggered the beam.
Clearly a case of the further up the rungs one progresses, the less certain
is the final count!
