Hello there!  I work at a museum that currently uses FileMaker Pro which
we've had very good luck with.  It's easy to use and you can create your own
fields which enables you to personalize it a bit to your own collections and
needs.  I've used this program at another museum as well.  I've also had
experience with Microsoft Access... but found it a bit more ...hmm.. shall we
say difficult to use.  I've also heard that it tends to get slower the more
records, etc. you put into it.  Hope this helps a bit.  Good luck!
