Many museums have found their best visitor surveys are done by MBA
candidates supervised by a reputable marketing professor. In Williamsburg
VA there is an especially good program at William & Mary. It's not because
they're less expensive than a market research firm, but they're less likely
to go 'ho hum,' since none of us have the name recognition and consistent
following of, say, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup :@)))

Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day seem fairly standard
holidays, though some museums do have special activities for travelers on
Thanksgiving Day and don't close.
